Using the directory

You do not need an account. We do not run advertising pixels, session replay or optional analytics. The site does not set its own tracking cookies.

Cloudflare hosts and protects the site and processes technical request information such as IP addresses and browser details. Short-lived rate-limit counters help prevent abuse; visitor keys are hashed and expire within minutes. We do not store search history in the gym database. Search terms remain in the page URL, so avoid entering private personal information.

Location and maps

Location access is optional and requires your browser permission. If you choose “Use my location”, coordinates are sent to our service to find nearby venues. They are not saved as a location history or sent to analytics. You can search a city instead.

Interactive city maps request tiles from OpenStreetMap. Listing maps connect to Google only if you choose to load the map. Those providers receive technical connection information and the requested map area or facility. External websites have their own privacy practices.

Contacting us

If you email us, we receive your email address, message and anything you attach. We use it to respond, assess corrections and handle rights or privacy requests. Please do not send passwords, identity documents or unnecessary sensitive information. Cloudflare forwards directory mail to our Google-hosted inbox. We retain correspondence as needed to handle the request and applicable recordkeeping obligations, then remove it when no longer needed.

Listing information

Public listings contain facility information and business contact details. Internal research notes, raw source records and personal research contacts are not returned through the visitor interface. Contact us to request a correction, review or removal of information about you or your business.

Service providers and your choices

Our providers may process information outside Canada. We use providers to deliver the directory, protect it and respond to messages; we do not sell visitor personal information. Provider security, legal obligations and their own privacy policies may also apply. You may decline browser location access, avoid loading maps, and contact us about access, correction or withdrawal of consent. We will explain any applicable limitations.

Changes

We will update this notice when relevant practices change. Optional analytics, account access, payments and commercial API subscriptions are not enabled on this site.
